Scenic and Prehistoric Tour

Enjoy an amphibian ride over very low water, tidal flats and sand bars, places inaccessible by other means. See some very old and perfectly preserved dinosaur tracks in rock on the beach, which once was an ancient planal forest floor. Marvel at the brightly coloured inhabitants that bask amongst the Mangrove trees lining the coast. And be amazed by the history that hides on our ocean floor.

Sunset Tour

Marvel at a spectacular Broome sunset from a remote landing on the tidal flats.  The hovercraft will not only take you on a 1¾ hour ‘Scenic and Prehistoric’ tour of the many curious sights along the Broome town coastline, but also includes enjoyable complimentary hors d’oeuvres and orange juice (Broome Hovercraft is a licensed venue, no byo) at a secluded point on the tidal flats or beach (depending on tidal conditions) location whilst marvelling at the glory of a magnificent sunset.

Flying Boat Wrecks Tour

Your flight of 1½ hours includes the full Scenic and Historic tour but, because of the extra low tide on these occasions, you are able to stop on the tidal flats beside the Flying Boat wrecks and meander amongst them whilst learning the amazing history of their demise during the Second World War.

Sunset Tour
(Flying Boat Wrecks)

Eight times a year we are able to include a visit to the WWII Flying Boat Wrecks in Roebuck Bay on the Sunset tour.  Following the stop at the dinosaur footprints we fly to the wrecks and enjoy some hors’ douvres, champagne and the sunset!!
